OTZI Shipping & Delivery Policy
Artisanal Production Timeline
At OTZI, we do not mass-produce. Each piece is meticulously hand made in our Norwich workshop upon confirmation of your order.
Standard Lead Time: 7 to 42 business days (1-8 weeks). Standard pieces typically carry a 4–6 week lead time, while our handcrafted mirrors require 6–8 weeks due to their complexity.
Variable Lead Times: Lead times can be found in the product description; these are indicative only and pieces may take longer (for example, if there is a delay in securing the required materials) or be delivered sooner than the time specified.
Updates: We will contact you directly via the email address provided to keep you informed of your piece's progress through the workshop.
Complimentary Worldwide Delivery (DDP)
We are pleased to offer complimentary shipping on all orders globally. To ensure a seamless experience, all international orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). OTZI assumes full responsibility for all export documentation, customs duties, and local import taxes. The price you see at checkout is the final price delivered to your door; there are no additional fees to pay upon arrival.
Shipping Methods & Estimates
Once your piece has been made and has passed our final quality inspection, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details.

United Kingdom: 1–3 business days via curated courier.

International: 2–7 business days, depending on customs clearance.
Delivery Access (The Client’s Responsibility)
Before placing an order for large furniture, please meticulously measure your space and delivery path (including doorways, stairways, and lifts).

Note: OTZI is not responsible for items that cannot be delivered due to restricted access. If a delivery cannot be completed due to size constraints, the client will be responsible for any return shipping and storage fees incurred.
Transit Protection & Reporting Damage
We take extraordinary care in crating our work for global travel. However, should an item arrive damaged, please follow these steps to allow us to resolve the matter:

Notify us within 48 hours of receipt at studio@otzi.ltd.

Provide documentation: Please include comprehensive photos of the external packaging, the internal cushioning, and the damage to the piece itself.

Retain Packaging: All packaging must be kept until the claim is resolved. We will prioritise a solution, which may include on-site repair by a local specialist, a replacement, or a full refund.
Compliance & Documentation
OTZI handles all regulatory requirements for the export of natural materials. While we provide all necessary declarations (such as the Lacey Act for US imports), the client is responsible for ensuring any details required for customs purposes are provided and correct.
